Before you order
What size should I choose?
Medium suits most standard UK shopfront windows — business name up to 80cm wide, readable from about 2–3 metres. Choose Small for narrower panels or compact frontages (up to 60cm wide). If you're unsure, measure the clear glass area where the name will sit and choose Medium.
Do I get a proof before it's made?
No. Standard orders are produced as entered. If you'd like us to check your text and layout before cutting, add a Proof Review (£8) at checkout.
Can I choose my own font or layout?
No. Every product uses a fixed layout system. This keeps the result clean, readable, and consistent — and means there's nothing to approve or revise before production.
What if I make a spelling mistake?
Check your text carefully before ordering — we produce exactly what's entered. If you want us to review it first, add a Proof Review at checkout. Replacements due to customer text errors are available at cost price.
What surfaces does it work on?
Clean, smooth glass — shop windows and glazed doors. It won't adhere correctly to textured or frosted glass, dirty surfaces, or painted walls. We don't recommend interior application for exterior-rated products.
Materials
What is it made from?
Our black and white range uses PVC-free polymeric vinyl with a matt finish. It is rated for 5+ years exterior use on clean glass.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. It's rated for exterior use and will handle UK weather. Avoid pressure washing directly onto the edges.
Do you sell PVC vinyl?
Our black and white range is PVC-free. If colour options are added in future, any that use PVC vinyl will be clearly labelled at the point of selection.
How do I remove it?
Peel back slowly from one corner. Gentle heat from a hairdryer helps on older applications. Any residue can be removed with an alcohol-based cleaner. It won't damage clean glass.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us at support@honestvinyl.com as soon as possible. We can usually make changes before production begins, but we can't guarantee it once cutting has started.
How long does production take?
Please allow 3–5 working days for production, plus UK shipping time.

We ship across the UK and Ireland. Free shipping on orders over £40.
How much does shipping cost?
Free on orders over £40. A flat rate applies below that — shown at checkout.
When will my order arrive?
Allow 3–5 working days for production, then standard UK shipping on top. You'll receive a dispatch notification with tracking when it ships.
How do I track my order?
A tracking link is sent by email when your order is dispatched.
Problems & replacements
My order has arrived damaged.
Contact us at support@honestvinyl.com with a photo of the damage. We'll send a replacement at no charge.
There's an error with my order.
If the mistake is ours, we'll replace it free of charge. If the text was entered incorrectly at checkout, replacement is available at cost price. Adding a Proof Review at checkout is the best way to catch errors before production.
How long does it last?
Rated for 5+ years exterior use on clean glass.
Do you accept returns?
Because each order is personalised and cut to order, we can't accept returns on correctly produced items. If something arrives damaged or incorrect on our end, we'll put it right.
